Our core business

Our core business is refrigerated transport for several different markets and companies in the UK and Europe. We deliver perishable goods, dairy products, pharmaceutical products, medical supplies and FMCG for UK and global transport as well as fresh fruit and vegetables, food packaging and food related products every day from Holland and Belgium into the U.K. When delivering to the UK we work with our customers to manage the delivery cycle to make sure we export out of the UK back to Holland and Belgium to reduce our carbon footprint and to make this cost effective for our customers. 

What we offer

Through utilising our vehicles placed strategically all over Europe we can offer our customers a service second to none, whether it be a full load of meat to be loaded and delivered to Rungis market on a same day basis or a helicopter blade to be delivered to Naples we can offer express delivery.

If your consignment is smaller we can also offer express delivery throughout Europe using vans.

Groupage Shipping

As a reliable transport company in Wiltshire, we provide groupage shipping. We work with our proven and established key partners in freight and shipping to make sure that your goods are shipped in a timely and efficient manner. We track shipping using GPS and our proven processes so that you are updated on the latest stage of goods shipping.

UK Transport

From our headquarters in Wiltshire, we provide general haulage shipping throughout the UK - whether that’s to or from Devon and Cornwall in the south-west UK or to Wales, Manchester, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, in the north of Scotland.

International and European Transport

We also provide international transport around the world. Broughton Transport ships goods for many of our customers across Europe including from the UK, as well as between European countries.

European transport is provided using our up to date, modern lorries, and one of our specialities is transporting fresh produce and other consumable products, thanks to our refrigeration and freezer compartments which can be controlled at the exact temperature that your goods need to be at. This means that any products we ship for you will remain fresh, and of the highest quality during the shipment - even during long journeys across European borders.
