HGV Driver Class 1 & 2 – Relief Driver

Due to continued growth, Broughton Transport Solutions are looking to hire Relief Drivers to join our busy team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. This is a full-time permanent role where the successful driver will be required to driver artic & rigid vehicles.

This position will predominantly cover staff holiday & absence within the Pallet Network team, but the opportunity to work within general haulage may become available as required. Due to the variety of this role, flexibility is very important.

Our Pallet Network operation covers a large area and operates 30+ vehicles daily. We are members of two pallet networks seeing us handle 3,500+ pallets per week.

You will work in a team of other drivers to perform multi-drop deliveries & collections of palletised freight within the local area.

• You will be "the face" of Broughton Transport to existing and potential customers alike so a level of customer service is expected
• Experience using electric pallet trucks, tail lifts and moving pallets would be useful but not essential as full training given
• You will be required to use an ePOD to confirm deliveries have been made and report any damages or accidents to both the goods and vehicles.

Hours

Shifts start between 06:00-08:00AM, 50 hours per week.  Monday to Friday.  Weekend work available if desired bit not mandatory.

Salary

£33,800 annually + weekly over-time + daily bonus
